About Me

Dr Hassan is a senior consultant, currently heading the department of Neurology, AMRI Mukundapur, Kolkata. He has vast clinical experience in the field of neurology and is specially known for his knowledge, dedication and expertise. Dr Hassan has specialised training in the field of Epilepsy and he is one of the renowned Epilepsy expert (Epileptologist) in the city and in eastern India. He has completed his neurology training (DM Neurology) and Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Epilepsy from Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical sciences and Technology (An Institution of National Importance, Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India), Trivandrum, Kerala. He has obtained his MD (Medicine) from IPGMER (SSKM), Kolkata. He has done MBBS from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, AMU, Aligarh, India. He started DNB in Neurology and established a dedicated Neurology services unit with stroke and epilepsy care. He has 11 publications in peer reviewed National and International journals and chapter contributions in 2 books.
