Dr. Raghu Nagaraj is a renowned Orthopaedic Surgeon with specialized expertise in Arthroscopy, Sports Medicine, Shoulder Surgery, and Joint Replacement Surgery. He completed his Master’s in Orthopedics at SMS Medical College, Jaipur, and advanced his training with an ISAKOS-approved fellowship in Arthroscopy and Sports Medicine under Dr. David Rajan in Coimbatore. Following this, he pursued a fellowship in Arthroplasty & Shoulder Surgery under Prof. Med Dirk Baumann at Marien-Erwitte Hospital, Germany, in 2012. Dr. Nagaraj's surgical acumen is particularly noted in complex arthroscopic surgeries involving the knee, shoulder, hip, and ankle joints, and he is skilled in Robotic Knee and Shoulder replacement surgeries. Since beginning his tenure at Hosmat Hospital in Bangalore in 2009, Dr. Raghu has performed over 6000 knee and shoulder surgeries, addressing the needs of both national and international sports personalities. His experience extends to his role as the Director of Orthopaedics, Sports Injuries, and Joint Replacement at Fortis Hospital, Cunningham Road, from 2020 to 2024. A committed educator and innovator, Dr. Raghu has also led numerous training sessions and cadaveric courses, shaping the next generation of orthopaedic surgeons.
