Dr. Shekar Patil is a well-experienced medical oncologist, and his expertise expands to several areas like conventional and high-dose radiotherapy for solid and haematological malignancies, intraperitoneal chemotherapy for advanced ovarian cancers, concurrent radiation and chemotherapy for carcinoma, and bone marrow transplantation. His other areas of specialisation include oral recombination of human lactoferrin with carboplatin chemotherapy in gynaecological malignancies and the treatment of lymphoma and acute leukaemia.
