About Me

Dr. Sanjiv Saigal is the Principal Director and Head of Gastroenterology, Hepatology & Endoscopy, Liver Transplant, and Biliary Sciences at Max Super Speciality Hospital, Saket, New Delhi, with over 28 years of experience. He has performed over 3,400 liver transplants and established India's first successful Transplant Hepatology program. Dr. Saigal completed his MBBS (Gold Medalist) from Calcutta National Medical College, MD in Internal Medicine from PGIMER, Chandigarh, DNB and DM in Gastroenterology from Delhi, and a Liver Transplant Fellowship at King's College Hospital, London. He holds memberships in the Royal College of Physicians (Edinburgh), National Academy of Medical Sciences (MAMS), and has served on national task forces for liver diseases like hepatitis B, hepatitis C, and acute liver failure.
