He has completed his MBBS from the esteemed Bangalore Medical College, MRCP (Internal Medicine) from Royal College of Physicians, Edinburgh, UK, MRCP (Endocrinology and Diabetes) and CCST (Endocrinology and Diabetes, Yorkshire Deanery, UK) and also holds an Advanced Diploma in Public Health Administration from Institute of Healthcare Administration, Chennai. He is a member of Endocrine Society(USA), the Royal College of Physicians( RCP, UK), Karnataka Endocrine Society, Endocrine Society of India, Research Society for the study of Diabetes in India, The Indian Society for Bone and Mineral Research.
