Dr. Ganeshakrishnan Iyer is a senior cardiothoracic and vascular surgeon with nearly four decades of surgical excellence, delivering over 12,000 open-heart procedures. He obtained his MBBS and MS from Grant Medical College, followed by an MCh in CTVS from KEM Hospital, and further honed his skills through fellowships in North America and Europe. Dr. Iyer has expertise in complex adult and pediatric cardiac operations, including coronary bypass, advanced valve repairs, congenital and aneurysm surgeries, and atrial fibrillation procedures. He pioneered minimally invasive techniques and valve-sparing procedures, contributing significantly to surgical innovation. Academically, he has published extensively and received recognition for his teaching and research contributions.
