Dr. Rakesh Rai Sapra is a distinguished interventional cardiologist with over three decades of experience, serving as Program Clinical Director of Cardiology at Marengo Asia Hospitals, Faridabad. He completed his MBBS from Bhopal, MD from PGIMER, and DM from AIIMS New Delhi, followed by advanced electrophysiology training in the USA. Dr. Sapra has independently performed more than 15,000 complex cardiac and vascular interventions, including coronary angioplasty, balloon valvotomy, peripheral angioplasty, congenital defect closures, and catheter-based arrhythmia treatments. He has successfully implanted pacemakers, defibrillators, and resynchronization devices during his career. Previously Head of Cardiology at prestigious institutions like Fortis Escorts and Artemis, he is recognized for his precision, leadership, and patient-focused care. He is a life member of the Cardiological Society of India and communicates fluently in English and Hindi. His expertise and extensive experience make him one of the most respected interventional cardiologists in North India.
