He has served in the Indian Armed Forces with honor, leading cardiac surgery departments across military and civilian hospitals. His expertise includes complex bypass surgeries, valve repairs, congenital heart disease correction, and advanced heart transplants. Dr. Kumar is renowned for introducing cutting-edge cardiac surgical techniques, including minimally invasive and robotic-assisted approaches. He has successfully performed numerous heart transplants and managed high-risk heart failure cases using advanced surgical methods. Known for his leadership and clinical precision, Dr. Kumar has trained several young surgeons and continues to mentor cardiac teams across India.
