About Me

Dr Gopinathan M is an Consultant in the Department of Oncology (Division – Hematology). He provides comprehensive care to patients with Hematologic Malignancies with sensitivity and dedication. Among the conditions he treats are acute Leukaemias, Multiple Myeloma, Hodgkin’s and Non Hodgkin’s lymphoma, Chronic Lympho proliferative disorders and other Blood Dyscrasias that can be cured through transplantation. He has special interests in management of Benign Hematological disorders like Aplastic Anemia, Thalassemias Sickle Cell Anemias, Haemophilia and other bleeding disorders. He is involved in performing Autologous and Allogeneic Hematopoietic stem cell transplantation for the above conditions and is keen on giving long term post transplant care for these patients. With multiple papers under his belt in esteemed journals, he is an academician and researcher with a great deal of passion involved in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate medical students. He has received a slew of significant accolades for his work in academia. In order to pay it forward, he is also proactively sharing his expertise and methods for identifying hematologic disorders with his colleagues and other paediatricians.
