About Me

Dr. Tejinder Kataria is a world-renowned Radiation Oncologist who introduced India's first Infinity Linear Accelerator with Volumetric Modulated Arc Therapy (VMAT), North India's first Integrated Brachytherapy Unit, and initiated Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy. With over 35 years of experience, she is credited with founding the Department of Radiation Oncology at both Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute, New Delhi, and Artemis Health Institute, Gurugram, as well as establishing the Division of Radiation Oncology at Medanta-Gurugram. Dr. Kataria has studied at premier institutes across India and abroad, including PGI Chandigarh, the University of Cambridge, the University of Leeds, and Harvard University, among others. She has introduced the latest advancements in radiation treatment at Medanta, such as Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS), Image-Guided Radiotherapy (IGRT), Intensity-Modulated Radiotherapy (IMRT), Image-Guided Brachytherapy, Total Body Irradiation (TBI), and Total Skin Electron Therapy (TSET). Dr. Kataria has been associated with the QUATRO Asia team from the International Atomic Energy Agency, Vienna, since 2005 and was part of the Task Force Committee for the National Cancer Control Program under the 11th Five-Year Plan of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, New Delhi.
