About Me

Dr Jyoti Shetty is a well-known Ophthalmologist currently associated with Manipal Hospital, Old Airport Road. She has 34 years of experience in Ophthalmology and worked as an expert Ophthalmologist in different cities of India. Doctor Jyoti Shetty has contributed to handling numerous complex medical cases in several hospitals. She is known for her attention to accurate diagnosis and for treating patients empathetically. The speciality interests of Dr Jyoti are Advanced Glaucoma surgeries, Trabeculotomy, Trabeculectomy with releasable sutures, Ologen, Glaucoma drainage devices (AVG), Paediatric Cataracts, Squint Surgeries, etc. She is also an active member of the All India Ophthalmological Society (AIOS), the Karnataka Ophthalmological Society (KOS), etc. Dr Jyoti Shetty did her MBBS from B J Medical College, Pune in 1989. She also completed her MS in Ophthalmology from B J Medical College, Pune in 1992. She has also participated in research work and various workshops under the Ophthalmology department and published many papers.
