About Me

Dr. Uday Murgod works as a Consultant Neurologist at the Manipal Hospital, Bangalore. He is also associated with the Medha Speciality Centre. He completed his MBBS from the Mysore University. He has an MD in Internal Medicine and further went on to pursue his DM in Neurology from the National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences. Dr. Murgod is backed by years of service. Having worked at various institutions, Dr. Murgod has gained ample experience and knowledge. He has worked as an Assistant Professor in Neurology at St. John's Medical College. He has also been part of the National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences, as a Senior Resident and as a Post- Doctoral Research Associate. He has also worked as a Senior Registrar at the Manipal Hospital, Bangalore. Dr. Uday has many publications to his credit. They reflect upon significant topics related to medicine. His analysis of “Lower Risk of Parkinson's Disease in a Population of European and Indian Origins” and “Molecular Analysis of Huntington's Disease and Linked Polymorphisms in the Indian Population” was much appreciated by the medical world.
