About Me

Completed Masters in Gen Surgery from JN Medical College, Belgaum, in 1997. Subsequently underwent Laparoscopic training at Bhatia & Joy Hospital, Mumbai. Cleared the fellowship examination in Minimal Access Surgery and was awarded FMAS, in 2006, by the Association of Minimal Access Surgeons of India. Has been practicing as a Consultant in General & Laparoscopic surgery for about 25 years, alongside being an active member of in-house Ethics, Hospital Infection Control, and Transplant committees. With a keen interest in Poly-trauma has been actively involved in setting up and managing the “Trauma Team”. Has served as a teaching faculty for Undergraduate and postgraduate courses in General Surgery at DY Patil Medical College, Pune. She is one of the top General Surgeons in Baner Pune.
