Dr. Nisha Shetty is a consultant in Oral Maxillo-facial surgery at Manipal Hospitals in Malleshwaram, Bangalore. She pursued her BDS from A. B. Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences, Mangalore. Dr. Nisha Shetty continued her studies and completed her MDS in Oral and Maxillo surgery from K. S. Hegde Medical Academy, Mangalore. She also got a fellowship in Oral Implantology. She has been awarded many awards and accomplishments throughout her service, including the Best Paper Awards at the International and National seminars 2005. The professional has over two decades of experience in oral surgery procedures and orthodontic treatment. She is genuinely passionate about helping her patients lead healthy and happy lives. Thanks to her creative skills and vast experience, Dr. Nisha Shetty is a member of many reputed organisations such as AO Foundation Davos, the Indian Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and Dental Council of India, the Indian Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, Karnataka State Chapter Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. She is proficient in Oral & Maxillofacial, Implantologist, and Dentofacial Orthopedist. Dr. Nisha Shetty started her career as a lecturer for BDS at A J Institute of Medical Sciences, Mangalore, for two years and four months. Later, she joined as a Senior Lecturer for MDS at Rajasthan Dental College, Jaipur, for one year and two months. In 2017, she was recruited as a lecturer at the Manipal College of Dental Sciences, Manipal, and then promoted to Assistant Professor in 2020. She is the Best Maxillofacial Surgeon in Bangalore. She taught Dental Anatomy, Oral Histology, and Oral Pathology to her BDS students during this period. She was also involved in practical classes and demonstrations in these subjects. Dr. Nisha Shetty was also experienced in preparing course materials, syllabi, and question papers for undergraduates. She organised formative and summative assessments for students. Her publication provides a histopathological diagnosis for oral lesions. She is proficient in several languages, including English, Kannada, and Hindi.
