Dr. Neha Mohan Rao completed her MBBS from JSS Medical College, Mysore and won the gold medal for Pediatrics in her final year MBBS. She then pursued her Diploma in Child Health (DCH) at St John’s Medical College and Hospital, Bangalore, and stood second in Karnataka state in DCH exams. Subsequently, she completed her DNB in pediatrics from Bangalore Baptist Hospital. She stood first nationally in her DNB exams and secured the gold medal in pediatrics. Dr. Neha then completed a two-year fellowship program in Pediatric Pulmonology. The first two years of training took place at Bharati Vidyapeeth Medical College and Hospital, Pune followed by a second year of training at Birmingham Children’s Hospital, Birmingham, UK. She is the best pediatric pulmonologist in Bangalore. Dr. Neha’s expertise includes pediatric allergy and asthma, Cystic Fibrosis, pediatric chronic lung diseases and pediatric sleep medicine. She is trained to perform procedures like pediatric lung function tests, neonatal and pediatric flexible bronchoscopy, polysomnography and skin prick tests. She has also secured the European Respiratory Society Diplomate in Pediatric Respiratory Medicine in 2022. She has completed a formal certificate course in allergy and asthma (Asthma Allergy Specialist Course) certified by Bharati Vidyapeeth University, Pune and the International Asthma Services, Colorado, USA, in 2021. She is the best pediatric pulmonologist in Bangalore. In addition to pediatric Pulmonology, Dr. Neha’s other areas of interest include pediatric ethics. She completed a formal certificate program in pediatric bioethics from the Children’s Mercy Hospital, Kansas City, USA in 2022. In addition, she has contributed to creating the Indian Academy of Pediatrics module on ethics in 2022. Dr. Neha has also completed a course on clinical research methods from the Indian Institute of Public Health, New Delhi in 2020, and has presented several posters and papers at various national and international conferences. She is also passionate about teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students.
