Dr. T P Rekha is an experienced Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Manipal Hospitals Old Airport Road. She has an experience of more than 21 years as a specialist in the field of Gynaecology. Her area of expertise includes high-risk pregnancy, endoscopic gynaec surgeries: laparoscopy and hysteroscopy, colposcopy and basic OBG ultrasound, hymenoplasty, vaginal prolapse, prenatal check-up, ovary removal surgery and maternal care/ check-up, uterine fibroid treatment, complicated pregnancy treatment, vulvoscopy, Vaginal Birth After Cesarean (VBAC), and menopause counselling. Dr. T P Rekha received her MBBS and MD in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from J.S.S. Medical College, Mysore, in 1994 and 2001, respectively. She had received specialised training in endoscopy at Bangalore's AV Hospital, which included laparoscopy and hysteroscopy. T P Rekha serves as the department's organisational secretary for the PG CME program. Dr. T P Rekha is a member of the Bangalore Society of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (BSOG), the Federation of Obstetric and Gynaecological Societies of India (FOGSI), and the Society for Fetal Medicine (SOFEM). She has a 1994 Karnataka Medical Council registration. She is a proud DNB teacher and can fluently communicate in English, Hindi, and Kannada.
