She is currently appointed as a Consultants in Obstetrics & Gynaecology at Manipal Hospitals Old Airport RoadHer area of expertise includes High-risk obstetrics, Gynae Problems, Natural Cycle IVF, In-vitro fertilisation (IVF), Normal Vaginal Delivery (NVD), Intra-Uterine Insemination(Iui), Hysterectomy(Abdominal/Vaginal), Lactation Counselling, Gynaecological Endoscopy, Growth Scan, Doppler Scan in Pregnancy, Nuchal Translucency Scan, Pregnancy Hypertension(Preeclampsia/ Eclampsia), and Laparoscopic Surgery (Obs & Gyn). Dr. Vidya Desai received her MBBS from the Armed Forces Medical College in Pune and her DGO and MD from Mysore and Bangalore, respectively. Her DGO and MD exams resulted in Dr. Vidya Desai securing the first rank. She has experience working for academic organisations, including St. John's Medical College & Hospital, where she served as the department's lecturer for obstetrics.
