She is a consultant Rheumatologist at PSRI Hospital. She has been trained for Rheumatology under Prof. A.N.Malviya, who is considered as the father of Rheumatology in India. She has been trained to do musculoskeletal ultrasound and her special interest is in Rheumatoid arthritis and its disease activity assessment on ultra-sonography and the association between Rheumatology arthritis with Diabetes mellitus. She is a member of API and IRACON.
