Dr. Anupama Y is a top Pediatric Intensivist and Pediatrcian in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad. Alumni of PSG medical college Coimbatore and did her specialisation in Pediatrics. She did her fellowship in Pediatric critical care from KKCTH(2013) , Chennai. She did her clinical Observship in GOSH , London UK and King's College London to gain clinical expertise for managing complex patients in pediatric critical care. Experience: She has 11 years of experience in Pediatrics and 8 years of experience in Pediatric critical care and has been with Rainbow since 2015. She is an accredited teacher for DrNB in Pediatric critical care medicine and fellowship in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine under Indian academy of Pediatrics and college of Pediatric critical care. She is active trainer for Pediatric Advanced life support and has participated in numerous workshops in Pediatric critical care and Simulation. She has both paper and oral presentations in national and international conferences to her credit. Expertise and Interest: Her areas of expertise and interest include Pediatric sepsis , Biomarkers in sepsis and Multi organ dysfunction in children and Extra corporeal therapies in Pediatric Intensive care ( Continuous renal replacement therapy ( CRRT ), Extra corporeal oxygenation ( ECMO ) and blood purification therapies. She has special interest in Pediatric burns, Pediatric Acute lung injury and mechanical ventilation and critical care nutrition. She believes in personalised and child & family-centered intensive Care.
