About Me

Dr T Annapoorna is a senior Consultant Paediatrician at Rainbow Hospital, Hyderabad with over 14 years of experience in India and UK. Her aim is to provide patient and family centered Paediatric care at par with International standards. She graduated from SRTM University, Maharashtra and underwent Paediatric training in UK for 9 years. She gained invaluable experience in various specialities of Paediatrics including General Paediatrics, Neonataology, Developmental Paediatrics, Paediatric emergencies, Paediatric surgery. She worked in world class institutions such as Guy’s and St Thomas NHS Hospital, Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, London. In India she worked as a Consultant Paediatrician at Lotus Hospital for Women and Children, Lakdikapul, Hyderabad. She has prepared guidelines, presented scientific papers in conferences, is a teacher for Paediatric post graduate students, thesis guide. Her areas of interest include General Paediatrics, infectious diseases, Asthma and allergy, Neonatal services, vaccination, infant and child nutrition. She is a member of IAP, IMA, GMC.
