About Me

Dr Ujjwala Desai has done MBBS from Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences Karad, Maharashtra and DCH from Sir H.N.Hospital, Mumbai. She joined Rainbow Children’s Hospital, Hyderabad in 2001 where she completed DNB Pediatrics and later completed MRCPCH (UK). She has successfully managed Rainbow Hospital’s Vijayawada branch including PICU and NICU as Intensivist form Jan 2008 to May-2010. She is currently working as a full time Pediatric Consultant at Rainbow Children’s Hospital, Banjara Hills, looking after General Pediatrics Department. She is also actively involved in Training for students enrolled in DNB Pediatrics post-graduation program across all branches of Rainbow Hospital and has been appointed as DNB Coordinator and Academic Coordinator for Rainbow Hospital.
