She then perused her DNB- Endocrinology from AIIMS only. Dr. Virmani is a founder President of Indian Society for Pediatric & Adolescent Endocrinology and present Chairperson for Pediatric Endocrine Chapter of Indian Academy of Pediatrics. Apart from her interest in Pediatric Endocrinology, Dr. Virmani has active participation in treating thalassemia patients.
