Dr. Rajath Athreya is one of the best paediatricians and neonatologist's in Bangalore, working as a Senior Consultant and HOD – Paediatrics & Neonatology. He is a well-established clinical lead in Neonatal medicine and Paediatrics having over 20 years of experience in the field. Being amongst the best neonatologists in Bangalore, he is known for his clinical skills, academics, and leadership qualities. He has experience of working beyond the hospital setting, across Government bodies, and the Health-tech industry in an advisory capacity. He is a consultant paediatrician and lead consultant neonatologist at Rainbow Children’s Hospital, Bengaluru. He served as the director of postgraduate fellowship programs in Neonatology both under the National Neonatology Forum and under Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. He was associated with Kauvery Hospitals, Bengaluru as a lead consultant. He also worked at Cloudnine Hospitals Bengaluru before joining Rainbow Children’s Hospital. Prior to this, Dr. Rajath spent a decade in the UK, working at world-renowned paediatric and neonatal centers including Imperial College, King’s College Hospital, London, and Guys' and St Thomas’ Hospital, London. He was a consultant neonatologist at University Hospital Lewisham, London. He was a faculty with the London School of Paediatrics and Resuscitation Council, UK. He has also been nominated as a member of the Technical advisory committee (TAC) for COVID-19 for the Government of Karnataka.
