Dr. Swetha R.D is a top Pediatrician & Neonatologist in Bannerghatta, Bengaluru. She comes with an experience of 15+years. She is a consultant of Pediatrics and Neonatal Intensive Care at Rainbow Children’s Hospital, Bannerghatta Road, Bengaluru. Dr. Swetha completed her MBBS from Sri Devaraj Urs Medical college (Kolar) in 2008, MD in Pediatrics from PESIMSR, Kuppam, Andhra Pradesh in 2012. She completed her Neonatal Intensive Care training in 2014 under Dr. Shanmuga Sundaram, the Founding Father of Neonatology in India. She has completed her Post Graduate Diploma in Developmental Neurology in 2020 under Dr. M.K.C Nair (CDC Thiruvananthapuram). She has an utmost interest in clinical teaching and graduate and postgraduate training as a Pediatrician and Neonatologist. Her special interest cum moto of work is about the prevention of developmental diseases than cure. She believes and aims high in the early detection of diseases that can normalize life and hence, she is continuously interested in service, research, and education in the Development of Pediatrics. Research is a need in the ever-evolving medical field. Dr. Swetha has contributed to the research in Pediatrics & Neonatology and is an award winner at State Conference in 2011 and National Conference in 2014. She authored a Book Chapter on Neonatal Intensive Care in a book entitled ‘Perioperative Critical Care’ published by JayPee Publisher, New Delhi. She is well recognized in the field of Pediatrics and regarded as one of the best Pediatrician & Neonatologist in Bannerghatta, Bengaluru.
