About Me

Dr. Aparna is a Consultant in Pediatrics & Neonatology and has an experience in general pediatrics which includes Nutrition, Growth & development, vaccination, Infectious diseases, Asthma & Allergy and Neonatology. She did her MBBS and MD from Kerala university. She has secured 2nd rank in MD pediatrics in Kerala University of health sciences. She was also awarded Sugunabai Memorial Award for her best outgoing performance during her Post-Graduation. Besides clinical practices, she also has teaching experience in Pediatrics for DCH, DNB students of Nation Board of Education. She is an Instructor and Provider in Pediatric advanced life support (PALS) and Basic life support (BLS), a course offered by the American Heart Association (AHA) for health care providers who take care of adults, children and infants in the emergency room, critical care and intensive care units in the hospital, and out of hospital (emergency medical services. She is a life time member of Indian academy of pediatrics. She has written research articles, presented research papers and posters at conferences. She is skilled and is well recognized in the field of Pediatrics and regarded as one of the best Pediatrician in Sholinganallur, Chennai.
