About Me

After completing his Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Pediatrics from Government Burdwan Medical College, Dr. Naresh Kumar pursued advanced specialization in Pediatric Nephrology at Christian Medical College (CMC), Vellore. Trained under renowned Pediatric Nephrologists at one of India’s most prestigious institutions, he has gained extensive expertise in managing children with various kidney disorders, including those requiring peritoneal and hemodialysis (both acute and chronic), continuous kidney replacement therapy, plasmapheresis, and kidney transplantation. With training from CMC Vellore, one of the few centers in India offering pediatric kidney transplants, Dr. Kumar excels in conducting pre- and post-transplant evaluations, as well as managing post-transplant complications in children. He is a life member of several esteemed medical societies, including the Indian Academy of Pediatrics (IAP), the Indian Society of Pediatric Nephrology (ISPN), and the International Society of Nephrology (ISN).
