About Me

Dr. Nithya is a Consultant Psychiatrist for women and children with expertise in the treatment and management of Autism, ADHD, Childhood Anxieties, Depression and Behavioral Issues. She is also a passionate advocate for mental health awareness, helping adult’s battle psychiatric issues like Depression, Anxiety, OCD, Sleep Problems and Psychosis. Dr. Nithya earned her MBBS from Gandhi Medical College, Hyderabad. With the goal of making mental healthcare more accessible to all, she decided to pursue her MD in Psychiatry from ASRAM, Eluru. Dr.Nithya subsequently completed a master’s degree in Psychology from IGNOU to deepen her knowledge of psychology and apply it in practice. During this time, she developed a keen interest in childhood mental illnesses and pursued a Fellowship in Child Psychiatry from Asha Hospital, Hyderabad. She has worked extensively with children and parents, and continues to extend her services to families coping with mental health issues.
