About Me

Dr Gowthami Muktineni is a second generation doctor and comes from a deep-rooted lineage of healthcare & social service. Her work as a pediatrician is inspired by her father, Dr Subrahmanyeswara Rao garu who was passionate about making healthcare affordable to people belonging to all strata of the society, particularly people with limited access to good healthcare. It was the same passion to provide equitable healthcare for all, especially during childbirth, that led her to pursue her pediatrics in NTRUHS soon after her MBBS. She realized very early into her MD program, that she could be most impact helping the most vulnerable newborns. As destiny would have it, she went on to complete a fellowship in Neonatology from the prestigious St. John's Medical College, Bengaluru Her professional endeavours are a natural extension of her personal life and her biggest achievements, she believes are being intuitively close to not just the infants she treats but also comforting and being empathetic to their parents. She's currently with Rainbow Children Hospital where she's regarded as one of the best in the pediatrics department. She has terrific success rates during both these stints as a Pediatric & Neonatal specialist.
