He has graduated from Kakatiya Medical College, and did DCH from Niloufer hospital, Hyderabad between 2001 - 2003.In U.K he underwent structured training in Pediatrics and completed MRCPCH. During first few years of his training in UK Dr. Chandra shekhar has worked as registrar in Tertiary NICU , Pediatric respiratory unit, and general Paediatrics at various hospitals in Glasgow, Manchester and Yorkshire. Dr.Chandra shekhar received his Pediatric intensive care training from Royal hospital for sick children,Glasgow and Alderhey children’s hospital , Liverpool ,UK. As part of his intensive care training he has worked in anesthesia, and Pediatric respiratory medicine . He worked as senior fellow in Pediatric Intensive care , Pediatric cardiac Intensive care ,Pediatric respiratory medicine at Alderhey children’s hospital ,Liverpool , UK . Dr. Chandra shekhar returned back to India in 2012, he worked as Pediatric Intensivist at KIMS hospitals, Secunderabad for two and half years and successfully managed Paediatric & adult ECMO patients. .Dr.Chandra shekhar’s areas of interest are ECMO, flexible bronchoscopy & Pediatric trauma.
