About Me

Dr. Shashwat Mohanty is a top Pediatric Intensivist and Pediatrician in Health City, Kailash Metta, Visakhapatnam. He did his graduation from Rangaraya Medical College, Kakinada and post-graduation from Andhra Medical College, Visakhapatnam. He did DNB and Fellowship in Pediatric Intensive Care from Rainbow Children's Hospital, Hyderabad. Post fellowship he worked as an Intensivist at Rainbow Children Hospital, Hyderabad and later joined Rainbow Children’s Hospital, Visakhapatnam as a Consultant Intensivist. He has an experience of more than a decade in the field of Pediatrics. He is competent in managing critically ill children with multi-system involvement requiring extracorporeal support like CRRT and ECMO. He is keen on academics and research activities related to critical care in children and has publications in index journals. He has presented papers at national and international conferences. He is the recipient of the best paper presentation at the prestigious World Federation of Pediatric Intensive and Critical Care Society(WFPICCS). His areas of interest include Pediatric Emergencies, High-frequency Ventilation, Nitric Oxide, Renal Replacement Therapy, ECMO, Neurocritical care and Transport of sick children.
