• Dr. Rajarshi Banerjee is a distinguished consultant in the Department of Maxillofacial Surgery at Manipal Hospitals Mukundapur. With a career spanning over three decades, he has established himself as a senior maxillofacial and oral surgeon. Dr. Banerjee's special interests lie in the Surgical Correction of Facial Deformities, Facial Trauma Surgery, and Oral Oncology. Additionally, his practice extensively covers diseases of the temporomandibular joint and Dentoalveolar Surgeries. • Dr. Banerjee completed his BDS from R. Ahmed Dental College, Kolkata, in 1991, followed by an MDS in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from Government Dental College, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, in 1997. He became a member of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, UK, in 2002. Throughout his illustrious career, he has contributed multiple publications to both international and national journals, namely the International Journal of Dental Science and Innovative Research. • He is also known for his leadership roles, including serving as the past president of the Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons of India, West Bengal Chapter. He was the Organising Chairman for the 48th Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons of India (AOMSI) Conference in Kolkata in 2024 and continues to play an active role in professional organisations. He is also a faculty member for the Arbeitsgemeinschaft für Osteosynthesefragen - Craniomaxillofacial (AOCMF) Trauma Course. Fluent in Bengali, English, and Hindi, Dr. Banerjee's dedication to his field and his comprehensive approach to Maxillofacial Surgery make him a leader in his speciality.
