• Dr. Atindriya Biswas is the best general surgeon in Kolkata practising at Manipal Hospitals, Mukundapur. He is one of India’s foremost laparoscopic surgeons with more than twenty years of experience in general surgery, GI surgery, and surgical oncology. Dr. Biswas's medical journey began with an MBBS followed by an MS in General Surgery. Then he went on to pursue an MRCS from the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh (UK), Fellowships from the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS), UK, and the European Board of Surgery (FEBS), Europe. This extensive training has equipped him with a high level of skill and experience. • Dr. Biswas provides a range of services including treatment for piles, constipation, acidity, gall bladder surgery, and deep vein thrombosis. He specialises in performing laparoscopic procedures, colorectal surgeries, gallbladder stone treatment, and piles treatment. He continuously keeps himself abreast of the latest technologies and offers his patients with advanced treatment. • During his academic career, he had several international publications and presentations. Dr. Biswas is actively invited as a guest speaker for scientific meetings, CMEs, and conferences to speak on laser treatment for anorectal diseases. A dedicated educator, he actively trains his junior surgeons and trainees, with a special interest in laparoscopic GI surgery and a subspecialty focus on colorectal surgery.
