• Dr. Piya Roy is a distinguished obstetrics and gynaecology specialist in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Manipal Hospitals, Mukundupur, Kolkata, with an overall experience of 32 years in the field, including 25 years of expertise in the specialty. Dr. Roy commenced her medical career by obtaining a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Calcutta University, a Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and a Diplomate of National Board (DNB) in Cosmetic Gynaecology. She further enriched her expertise by earning a clinical fellowship in Infertility Management from Leeds University, UK, a fellowship from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecology (FRCOG), and a Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training (CCST). Her academic excellence has earned her honours in Pharmacology, Ophthalmology, and ENT, as well as a gold medal for her outstanding performance during her MBBS studies. She is the foremost Gynecologist in Mukundapur, Kolkata. • Dr. Roy’s field of expertise includes performing various Minimally Invasive methods for removing polyps and fibroids, and Hysterectomy procedures.
