• With over 25 years of expertise in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Dr. Susupta Chaudhuri is an esteemed senior consultant at Manipal Hospitals, Mukundapur, Kolkata. Dr. Chaudhuri’s journey into medicine commenced with her completion of a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), followed by a Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (DGO) from Calcutta University. She expanded her expertise by obtaining a Diploma from the Faculty of Family Planning (DFFP) in the UK and earning a fellowship and membership from the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (MRCOG & FRCOG). Dr. Chaudhuri worked in the UK for 13 years before moving to Kolkata and has served as a faculty member at the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She is also a certified Medical Obstetric Emergency Training (MOET) trainer from the UK. • Dr. Chaudhuri’s expertise includes carrying out high-risk pregnancies and addressing menopausal problems, especially those diagnosed with early menopause. She is also proficient in performing several Laparoscopic Gynaecological Surgeries using minimally invasive techniques, such as Cyst Removal, and Hysterectomies. She also has a keen interest in providing gynaecological care to adolescents. Dr. Chaudhuri’s empathetic approach to patients ensures compassionate care and support throughout their treatment journey. • Recognised for her academic achievements, Dr. Chaudhuri has been awarded numerous honours and scholarships during her MBBS. She also delivered several talks at prestigious conferences and has earned immense praise for her oratory skills. Dr. Chaudhuri is fluent in the languages of Hindi, English, and Bengali, enabling her to cater to the needs of different patients from various backgrounds.
