• Dr. Jemsy Jose is an esteemed consultant specialist in the Department of Paediatrics at Manipal Hospitals, Mukundapur, with over 30 years of experience in the field. After completing her MBBS at NRS Medical College in Kolkata, Dr. Jose moved to the United Kingdom, where she trained in various areas of Paediatric Medicine, including Neonatal Intensive Care and Emergency Care. She then went on to obtain membership in the Royal College of Paediatrics & Child Health (MRCPCH), solidifying her credentials in the field. • Dr. Jose's expertise in the field encompasses treating various paediatric disorders in children, including those with developmental problems. She also specialises in General Paediatrics and Cochlear Implant Surgeries and currently runs the enuresis clinic in collaboration with paediatric nephrologists twice a month. She attends deliveries regularly and plays a crucial role in the neonatal care of the babies, ensuring that the newborns receive prompt and thorough medical care from their birth until they are discharged, setting them on a path towards a healthy life. She also works with a team of ENT doctors who perform cochlear implants in children with severe sensorineural deafness. Her contributions to the team involve assisting with Transformative Surgeries that enable these children with hearing loss to be able to speak once their hearing is restored, greatly enhancing their overall well-being.
