• Dr. Jasodhara Chaudhari is a renowned consultant specialist in the Department of Paediatric Neurology at Manipal Hospitals, Mukundapur, Kolkata, with an overall experience of 15 years, including 8 years of focus on the speciality. Dr. Chaudhuri completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from West Bengal State University and a Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Paediatrics from Medical College, Kolkata. She later obtained a membership and a fellowship from the Royal College of Paediatric and Child Health (RCPCH), followed by enrolling in a short-term fellowship in Paediatric Neurology from the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education & Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, broadening her expertise in the field. She later obtained a Doctorate of Medicine (DM) in Neurology from the Bangur Institute of Neurosciences (BIN), which is functionally attached to the Institute of Post-Graduate Medical Education and Research (IPGMER), Kolkata. Dr. Chaudhari then went on to earn a fellowship in Mini Movement Disorder from Nebraska, USA, enhancing her ability to manage complex neurological disorders in children. She is the foremost Pediatric Neurologist in Kolkata. • Dr. Chaudhuri’s expertise involves addressing movement disorders, strokes, epilepsy, and other neurological conditions that affect children, ensuring proper diagnosis and treatment by using state-of-the-art technologies. Recognised for her profound expertise and compassionate care, Dr. Chaudhuri is highly dedicated to advancing clinical practices by employing a multidisciplinary approach to treatment and advocating for better neurological health outcomes in children. • Beyond her proficiency in the clinical field, Dr. Chaudhuri has made significant contributions to Paediatric Neurology through her research published in prestigious medical journals, both, national and international. She is also a member of the Indian Academy of Paediatrics (IAP), and the Indian Academy of Neurology (IAN), and has been the secretary of the Society of Paediatric Neurology, West Bengal, as well as a current member of the National Task Force for several neurological diseases, including Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) and Wilson's disease, underscoring her leadership and dedication to advancing paediatric neurological care in India and beyond.
