• Dr. Paromita Nath is a skilled paediatrician with specialized expertise in Pediatric Rheumatology. She brings over her experience in paediatrics, including advanced training in the management of complex pediatric rheumatologic conditions. Dr. Nath completed her MBBS from IPGMER & SSKM Hospital, Kolkata with honours in Pediatrics. She pursued her post-graduate training in Pediatrics (DNB) at a top hospital in Delhi. Returning to Kolkata in 2021, she worked as a registrar in Manipal Hospitals Mukundapur for 6 months followed by 1 year of senior residency at Medical College & Hospital, Kolkata. Her commitment to pediatric rheumatology led her to complete an 18-month Fellowship in Pediatric Rheumatology at Manipal Hospitals, Bangalore. During this time, she gained extensive hands-on experience in diagnosing and managing rare and complex rheumatologic and autoimmune conditions in children. She has published in esteemed journals, including her recent research on pediatric systemic lupus erythematosus in the Mediterranean Journal of Rheumatology. • She has presented her research work at national and international conferences, earning accolades for her studies on juvenile idiopathic arthritis, IgA vasculitis, and autoinflammatory diseases. Her oral presentation on predictors of IgA nephritis in pediatric IgA vasculitis at the 22nd National Conference of Pediatric Rheumatology (2024) won the Best Oral Paper Award.
