About Me

• Dr. Amitabha Roychoudhury is a top ENT doctor in Kolkata at Manipal Hospitals, Dhakruia, with 32 years of extensive experience in the medical field. Dr. Roychoudhury started his medical career by graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), followed by a Diploma in Otorhinolaryngology (DLO) from Dibrugarh University. He later broadened his expertise by obtaining a Diplomate of National Board (DNB) in ENT and a Postgraduate Diploma in Otorhinolaryngology from the Royal College of Surgeons (DLORCS). • Dr. Roychoudhury’s expertise lies in the domains of Rhinology, Laryngology, and Otology, and is proficient in addressing several conditions related to ENT, such as nasal obstructions and polyps, tonsillitis, infections affecting the eyelids, ears, and nose; vertigo, dysphagia, earwax buildups, and autoimmune diseases, by employing state-of-the-art techniques and advanced diagnostic tools. He is also proficient in employing several minimally invasive techniques, including Cochlear Implantation to facilitate effective hearing and Anterior Base Skill Surgery for treating tumours or other growths present at the base or bottom of the skull. • Beyond Dr. Roychoudhury’s expertise in clinical practice, he is a dedicated mentor surgeon for the Eastern Zone under the Government of India’s Scheme of Assistance to Persons with Disabilities for Purchase/Fitting of Aids /Appliances (ADIP Scheme), a professor, and heads the Department of ENT of a reputed post-graduate teaching hospital.
