• Dr. Saswati Sinha is an esteemed consultant practicing in the Department of Critical Care at Manipal Hospitals, Dhakuria, Kolkata, with 19 years of experience in the field. Dr. Sinha completed her MBBS and MD in General Medicine from the Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Maharashtra. She later pursued her training at a prominent hospital in Chennai, where she completed her Indian Diploma in Critical Care Medicine (IDCCM) course. She also broadened her expertise by obtaining a European Diploma in Intensive Care Medicine (EDIC), solidifying her reputation in the field. • Dr. Sinha’s proficiency encompasses Critical Care and Internal Medicine, where she employs advanced diagnostic and treatment interventions to address various diseases, including infectious and non-infectious. She played a pivotal role in saving a patient diagnosed with COVID-19 who had been on a ventilator for a month, a miraculous recovery that was carried out by her team and recognised in several newspapers and channels. Her commitment to delivering top-quality care and prioritising personalised approach to treatment has consistently earned her acclaim in the medical community. • Dr. Sinha’s achievements are vast, with her being awarded by many esteemed organisations, institutions, and media channels, namely the International Trainee Travel Award by the American Thoracic Society (ATS), the Chikitsajyoti Award by Sangbad Pratidin, a prominent Bengali newspaper, the Jewel of Bengal Award bestowed by the Indian Institute of Health Management and Research (IIHM), and the Medgate Indian Awards for the ‘Best Doctor’. She also published many articles and book chapters, contributing valuable insights and advancements to the field of Critical Care.
