• Dr. Biswajit Paul is a distinguished senior interventional neurologist at Manipal Hospitals, Dhakuria, Kolkata, with a profound dedication to advancing patient care and neurological research. With 14 years of experience, including 10 years as a specialist, Dr. Paul pursued a DM in Neurology from Guwahati Medical College, Guwahati University, after completing his MD in General Medicine and MBBS from Silchar Medical College, Assam University. He further refined his skills with a two-year fellowship in Interventional Neurology and Endovascular Therapy from the Institute of Neuroscience-Kolkata (IN-K). • Dr. Paul is proficient in performing over a thousand diagnostic Angiograms of the brain and spinal cord, along with various neuro-interventional procedures. His expertise encompasses managing neurological disorders such as stroke, vascular disorders of the brain and spinal cord, malnutritional disorders of the nervous system, migraine, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, and neuro-infections. He also specialises in conducting Digital Subtraction Angiography (DSA) of the brain and spine, Carotid and Vertebral Artery Stenting, Intracranial Artery Stenting, Mechanical Thrombectomy in acute ischaemic stroke, Aneurysm Coiling, and Arteriovenous Malformation (AVM) Embolisation. • Dr. Paul is a member of various esteemed neurology associations, such as the Indian Academy of Neurology (IAN), the Society of Neurovascular Intervention (SNVI), the Neurological Society of India (NSI), the Association of Neuroscientists of Eastern India (ANEI), the Indian Stroke Association (ISA), and the Indian Medical Association (IMA).
