• Dr. Shomik Sarkar is a well-known consultant surgeon in the Department of Orthopaedics and Joint Replacement Surgery, holding 10 years of experience in the field. He completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery, followed by a Diploma in Orthopaedics (D.Ortho). He completed his post-graduation and master's qualification (DNB) under the National Board of Examinations (NBE), New Delhi. Dr. Sarkar later earned a fellowship in Joint Replacement and Arthroscopy and became a member of the National Academy of Medical Sciences (MNAMS), further broadening and enhancing his credentials. • Dr Sarkar has consistently demonstrated academic excellence throughout his career, receiving training at some of the most renowned medical institutions both within the country and abroad. He covers a spectrum of areas in the field, including Joint Replacement, Arthroscopy, Trauma and Fracture Fixation of both adult and paediatric age groups, Sports Injuries, and Joint Reconstruction and Preservation for hip, knee, elbow and shoulder joints. • As a dedicated and skilled surgeon, Dr. Sarkar is known for his keen attention to detail and meticulous approach to surgery, incorporating the latest medical advancements for excellent outcomes.
