Dr. Ranjan Kumar Sharma is a highly experienced Consultant Cardiologist with over 34 years of expertise in the field of cardiology. He has a rich educational background with qualifications including MD (General Medicine), DNB (Cardiology), DM (Cardiology), and a Diploma in Cardiology from prestigious institutes in India, such as IPGMER and SSKM Hospital, Kolkata. Dr. Sharma specializes in a wide range of cardiology treatments, including vascular surgery, mitral/heart valve replacement, angiography, aortic aneurysm surgery, and the management of conditions like hypercholesterolemia, arrhythmias, and dyslipidemia. He has a strong focus on both interventional and non-invasive cardiology. Throughout his career, Dr. Sharma has contributed to the medical community as a Senior Research Fellow from the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) and has presented papers at international conferences like EURO-PCR (Paris) and IRF (Vienna). He is a founding member of the Society of Intervention and is an active member of the Indian Medical Association (IMA), Indian Association of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgeons (IACTS), and the Association of Physicians of India (API). Currently, Dr. Sharma practices at various hospitals in Kolkata, including Manipal Hospital, AMRI Hospitals, and Columbia Asia Hospital. He is also associated with his private clinic, Oasis Clinic.
