Dr. Anjan Lal Dutta, MD(Medicine), DM(Cardiology), FCCP(USA) is a highly experienced and qualified Interventional Cardiologist with over 30 years of experience. He is currently working at Peerless Hospital & Research Center Ltd. in Kolkata, India, and is also a Professor of Cardiology at Vivekananda Institute of Medical Sciences, Kolkata. Dr. Dutta completed his postgraduate MD degree from the Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research (IPGMER) in Kolkata, India, and his superspeciality DM (Cardiology) post-doctorate degree from the National Institute of Cardiology and Thoracic Sciences (NICTS) in New Delhi, India. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC) and the Cardiological Society of India (CSI). Dr. Dutta is a highly skilled and experienced interventional cardiologist, with a special interest in coronary angioplasty and stenting, valvuloplasty, and ablation procedures. He is also an expert in the diagnosis and management of all types of heart diseases, including coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, and valvular heart disease. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Dutta is also actively involved in teaching and research. He has published more than 100 research papers in peer-reviewed journals, and is a regular invitee as faculty at various national and international conferences. Here are some of his notable achievements: He was one of the first cardiologists in India to perform a percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) for a patient with acute myocardial infarction (AMI). He is also an expert in the treatment of complex coronary artery disease, and has published several research papers on this topic.
