• Dr. Susruta Bandyopadhyay is a highly experienced cardiologist with 30 years of experience, currently practicing at the Critical Care Department of Manipal Hospitals, Broadway, Kolkata. Following his completion of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), he obtained a Diploma in Cardiology from, and a Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Internal Medicine from GSVM Medical College, Kanpur. Dr. Bandyopadhyay is also recognised as a fellow of the Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine (ISCCM), enhancing his expertise in this specialisation. • Throughout his esteemed career, Dr. Bandyopadhyay has made significant contributions to Critical Care Medicine as a faculty member for Criticare over the past 15 years. He has imparted his knowledge and expertise at national conferences organised by prestigious medical societies such as the Cardiological Society of India (CSI) and the Association of Physicians of India (API). Additionally, Dr. Bandyopadhyay has played a pivotal role in the academic community, serving as a regular contributor to the yearly update books for the Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine and providing editorials for the Indian Journal of Critical Care Medicine (IJCCM). His contributions extend to academia as a contributor to the Textbook of Critical Care Medicine, edited by Dr. Y. Mehta. • Dr. Bandyopadhyay's dedication to advancing critical care extends beyond academia and clinical practice. He has been an integral part of many esteemed hospitals, demonstrating his commitment to providing high-quality medical care. Actively involved with the Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine, Dr. Bandyopadhyay has served as the Vice President and the organising secretary for Criticare 2013 Kolkata. He has also contributed to medical education by serving as a faculty member for courses such as the Indian Diploma in Critical Care Medicine (IDCCM), the Certificate Course in Thoracic Critical Care Medicine (CTCCM), and the Indian Diploma in Critical Care Medicine (IDCCN). He also examines candidates for various diploma and fellowship exams in critical care medicine - IDCCM, IFCCM, and FNB. Dr. Bandyopadhyay's expertise is further highlighted by his role as the sole faculty for Echocardiography in eastern India. • Fluent in Bengali, English, Hindi, and German, he possesses a diverse skill set enriched by his extensive medical background.
