• Dr. Shambhu Vishal is a highly experienced and dedicated consultant physician specialising in General Medicine and Critical Care. He currently serves as a consultant in the General Medicine department at Manipal Hospitals, Broadway, Kolkata, a role he has held since July 2018. Prior to this, Dr. Vishal gained valuable experience as a Critical Care Registrar and registrar in internal medicine and rheumatology in Kolkata. His medical career began as a Resident Medical Officer at Manipal Hospitals, where he also worked in the departments of Medicine and Gastroenterology. • Dr. Vishal's extensive educational background includes an MBBS from M.S. Ramaiah Medical College, Bangalore, an FCPS in General Medicine from the College of Physicians & Surgeons, Mumbai, and a DNB in General Medicine from the National Board of Education. He has further honed his expertise with certifications such as a one-year diabetes course (CCEBDM) and a Post Graduate Diploma in Diabetes from EACME, along with an Associate Fellowship in Industrial Health (AFIH). • His clinical expertise spans a wide spectrum of medical conditions, including respiratory tract infections, fever, hypertension, diabetes, anaemia, urinary tract infections, geriatric care, allergies, gastrointestinal issues, and infectious diseases like malaria and dengue. Dr. Vishal is well-regarded for his exceptional patient care, professionalism, and strong communication skills, making him a respected figure in the medical field.
