• Dr. Prasenjit Chatterjee is an esteemed cancer specialist in Kolkata in the Department of Oncology Medical at Manipal Hospitals, Broadway, Kolkata, with an overall experience of 33 years, including 25 years of specialisation in the field of Oncology. Dr. Chatterjee graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Burdwan Medical College and Hospital, West Bengal, and a Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Radiation Oncology from Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai. He subsequently enriched his expertise by obtaining a Diplomate of National Board (DNB) in Radiation Oncology. • Dr. Chatterjee’s area of expertise is performing several treatment interventions for cancers head and neck region, lung and mediastinal, gastrointestinal, genitourinary, gynaecology, and others such as lymphoma, skin tumours, and soft tissue sarcoma. He is proficient in following innovative approaches to treatment using radiation therapy and chemotherapy and specialises in Brachytherapy, Proton Therapy, and Stereotactic Radiosurgery. • Dr. Chatterjee is a member of several prestigious societies that aim to address various breakthroughs made in the field, namely the Indian Medical Association (IMA), the Association of Radiation Oncology of India (AROI), the Indian Cooperative Oncology Network (ICON), the Oncological Society of Bengal, the Pediatric Radiation Oncology Society (PROS), the International Lung Cancer Society (ILCS), the Cancer Patients Aid Association (CPAA), the American Society of Radiation Oncology (ASTRO), the European Society of Medical Oncology (ESMO), and the Multinational Association of Supportive Care (MASCC).
