• Dr. Dibyendu Kumar Ray is a Renowned Neurosurgeon in Kolkata with 31 years of extensive experience serving at Manipal Hospitals, Broadway, Kolkata. He completed his MBBS from RG Kar Medical College and Hospital, MS in General Surgery from Sardar Patel Medical College, and an MCh in Neuro Surgery from Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh. Dr. Ray is a distinguished member of various prestigious medical societies including the Neurological Society of India, the Neurological Surgeons Society of India (NSSI), and the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS). • Throughout his illustrious career, Dr. Ray has specialised in various neurosurgical procedures, including surgery for intracranial aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations, movement disorders, hydrocephalus, and spinal injuries. He is proficient in Stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgery, Endovascular Neurosurgery, and Complex Spine Surgery. Dr. Ray's expertise is further enhanced by his extensive training and attained various fellowships including a Lars Leksell Fellowship in Radiosurgery from the University of Virginia, a Fellowship in Stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgery from Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU), and a Fellowship in Spine from University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria (UICOMP). • Dr. Ray's commitment to advancing neurosurgical care is evident in his active involvement in organising medical conferences and serving on scientific committees. He has been the Organising Secretary of the Annual Conference of the Neurological Surgeons' Society of India and the Co-chair of the Scientific Committee of the Annual Conference of the Neurological Society of India.
