• Dr. Alok Basu is an esteemed specialist in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Manipal Hospitals, Broadway, Kolkata. His career expertise spans over 35 years and is a reputed medical professional in the domain. He pursued his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at Calcutta Medical College and later earned a fellowship from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG), London. He is a Good Gynaecologist in Kolkata • Dr. Basu’s field of expertise encompasses the areas of natural childbirth, Minimal Invasive Laparoscopic and Hysteroscopic Surgeries in various gynaecological related diseases, addressing female hormone imbalance, and management of problems related to menopause and Hormone Therapy. Dr. Basu’s proficiency in the field has established him in being a member of many eminent organisations such as the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, the Bengal Obstetric & Gynaecological Society (BOGS), the Indian Menopause Society (IMS), Endometriosis Society of India (ESI) and Indian Medical Association (IMA). Moreover, he has chaired the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in the past, and is presently a member committee of the Bengal Obstetric & Gynaecological Society, showcasing his immense leadership qualities in the domain. • Dr. Basu’s wealth of expertise and knowledge have built many collaborations throughout his career, he has attended as a delegate and a presenter in various local, national, and international conferences.
