• Dr. Nikhil Prasun is an esteemed neurologist doctor in Kolkata, currently working at Manipal Hospitals in Broadway, Kolkata, in the Department of Neurology, with more than 21 years of overall experience, coupled with 11 years of expertise in the field of Neurology. Dr. Prasun began his medical journey with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), and a Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Lalit Narayan Mithila University, Bihar. His dedication to the field later led him to obtain a Doctorate of Medicine (DM) in Neurology from West Bengal State University, Calcutta. • Dr. Prasun’s clinical expertise includes the areas of movement disorders, migraine, strokes, and other neurological diseases. His decade-long experience in the field is marked by numerous milestones, which include establishing the Department of Neurology at a prominent medical institution in Broadway, Calcutta, and revolutionalising treatments for movement and chronic migraine problems with the introduction of Botox injections. Moreover, his involvement in providing medical care for patients with stroke has aided him in establishing an emergency stroke protocol that was instrumental in conducting Stroke Thrombolysis during his career. • Dr. Prasun's leadership extends to expanding the electrophysiology department and overseeing the administration of diagnostic tests such as Electroencephalogram (EEG), Nerve Conduction Velocity (NCV), Electromyography (EMG), and Visual evoked potentials (VEP).
