He earned his MBBS and MD from Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi, and holds MRCP (UK), DNB (Medicine), FACP, and FRCP (Edin) qualifications. Dr. Budhiraja is a member of the Royal College of Physicians (London), National Academy of Medical Sciences (India), Indian Medical Association, and the American College of Cardiology. His special interests include Immunology, Rheumatology, and Geriatric Medicine, and he has been instrumental in establishing Max’s Smoking Cessation Clinic. ​
